Ofsted reports
Our last Ofsted inspection took place on 28th and 29th March 2023. This two-day, section 8 ungraded inspection confirmed that we are still a good school.
Key strengths identified were:
- The strong sense of pride that leaders, staff and pupils felt for our school
- High standards of behaviour, resulting in respectful, polite, considerate pupils
- A broad and well-rounded curriculum in which children achieve well, particularly in reading and mathematics
- A range of inclusive and enriching extracurricular activities
- Our 7 Key Principles which underpin the curriculum
- A carefully adapted curriculum and targeted support to meet the needs of our SEND pupils
- Strong and effective safeguarding procedures
Our target is:
Leaders should ensure that more recently appointed subject leaders develop their expertise further so that they develop a clearer oversight of what is working well and what needs improving in their areas of subject responsibility.
