Children's University
Children’s University is a programme that aims to inspire and reward children aged 5 to 14 for participating in learning activities beyond the classroom. The program encourages pupils to take part in extracurricular activities such as arts, sports and volunteering. These activities are offered by accredited Learning Destinations, including Colmore Junior School.
When our pupils take part in extracurricular activities, the hours they spend on these activities are logged by our senior learning mentor Mr Hughes. Awards and certificates are given in a 'graduation' style ceremony when they reach a certain number of logged hours.
